Admissions at Oxford

Each year, thousands of student - just like you - find their purpose and way to greater success at Oxford College of International Studies.

Freshmen are students who have never attended college. Even if you have taken college courses during high school, you are still a freshman.
A complete application will consist of the following:
 Freshmen Application  $65 application fee SAT or ACT scores  Official high school transcript

 Applicants who have graduated from high school or who have a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) should apply:
 Freshmen Application $65 application fee SAT or ACT scores (only required within one year of high school graduation) Official high school transcript or GED scores and diploma.These documents can be applied online.

Graduate Admissions

Before you apply to Oxford, review what’s required to be enrolled to one of our graduate programs:
 A completed application for graduate admission. Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended. Two professional letters of recommendation. Completed Field Supervisor Form. Completed Letter of Agreement. GRE or MAT exam scores.

  • Submission of documents

    Applications will not be reviewed until all of the necessary documents are submitted. We may contact applicants and ask them to come in for an individual interview.

  • Deadlines

    Applications may be submitted at any time. Oxford accepts students on a rolling admission basis for the 3 terms per year.

  • MBA Applicants Only

    MBA applicants are required also to write and submit a 400–600-word essay describing the business venture the student will develop and work on during the study.

Transfer Students

As a transfer student at Oxford College of International Studies, you can earn your associate, Professional bachelor’s or Professional master’s degree really fast. Our accelerated programs and flexible credit transfer policy make transferring here simple:
 Apply and enroll in any of our 3 semesters. Transfer up to 12 credits toward your associate degree, up to 90 credits for Professional bachelor’s degree work—and up to 6 credits for graduate programs.  Articulation agreements with several community and private colleges make the transfer experience seamless. Up to $8000 in Scholarships and financial aid available.
Transfer Admission to Oxford College is based on the strength of your post-secondary record(s). 
Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply by deadline date of February 1st for Fall semester and by deadline date of September 15th for Spring semester. 

Admission Decision

We make the application process and your transition to college simple whether you’re a busy working professional, a graduating high school senior, or an international student.
Please note that we send out admission decisions by regular mail and email. All Oxford admissions decisions are sent via email under the subject line “Your Admission Decision from Oxford”.
Check your email regularly. It's better to add this email address to your white list, in this case, the decision will not end up in your junk or spam folder. However, due to different options of online security, we recommend that you check both your inbox and junk mail folders just to be sure. Your admission decision will be sent to the email address you provided on your application. Plus, we will definitely send it by regular mail. 

  • all 2025 programs and courses being offered will be conducted remotely.

Students who already have a baccalaureate degree from an institution, and who want to gain a second Professional degree, must apply to Oxford as transfer students.  
If accepted, a second-degree student should complete a minimum of 40 credits at Oxford, in addition to the General Education Requirements. Applicants from regionally accredited senior colleges are exempt from all skills tests and General Education Requirements.
